Picture Clueless but in the 1940s and voila! This suit. This beautiful little two piece is made of very lightweight wool in a traditional and bold red and green tartan. The shape of both the skirt and jacket are classic 1940s and the tailoring is excellent. While probably home made, someone definitely knew what she was about. I think my favorite detail are the little triangular pockets on the blazer. I love pairing this with a printed blouse underneath, but it would also pair nicely with a cream silk shell.
