This charming little ruffle dress is by Louis Clausen for Lord and Taylor. In addition to the amazing ruffled sleeves and hem, the marigold watercolor floral print on this dress is to die for. I wasn’t able to find any info on the “Louis Clausen” part of the label, but the style of the “Lord and Taylor” label dates this dress to the late 1950s, or early 1960s. I believe this dress may have been a juniors dress originally.

Condition: Fair. This dress has been hand washed and a lot of effort has been taken to get out some brown water stains. There are, however, a few faint marks left, but they are not very noticeable in the busy pattern. The belt is pretty heavily distressed, and might be past saving, but I wanted to include it anyway as it is original to the dress.
