This color!!! In some ways, this is a little bit of an unremarkable 1950s dress, familiar style, familar cut, but the color of this electric green shantung silk takes it totally over the top. The fabric is a thick, beautiful, and lustrous slubbed silk in the most amazing bright slime green. Most likely custom made, it has a tag inside from Marsal gowns Park Avenue, this dress was absolutely for a woman who didn’t care about the rules and wanted something fab!
